It is easy to feel isolated from others as you are running your own small business. Reach out to other small business owners in your community to share insights with one another. You can share what has worked and what hasn’t worked for your business, and perhaps receive some advice from other small business owners who have been in a similar position. You can also pool resources and cut costs on supplies, office rental and so on. If your businesses’ customer bases share similar demographics, you could even set up a referral network between business owners and send mutual referrals, benefiting both businesses.
