Podcasts are a great resource for entrepreneurs, providing sources of inspiration, wisdom, and new ideas. Often, they involve discussions of contemporary issues or interviews with successful entrepreneurs. In contrast to books, seminars, or webinars, podcasts can be consumed while you work out, commute, or do household chores. This makes them a great tool for education and inspiration for busy entrepreneurs.

The Tim Ferriss Show

The Tim Ferris Show is an interview show, where he talks to successful people in various fields and looks to identify and deconstruct their path in life. Some of his notable guests have included Mark Ecko of Ecko Fashion, Matt Mullenweg of WordPress, and Drew Houston of Dropbox. He typically has his guests recount their journey from the beginning and then asks them pointed questions about key decisions they have made on the way. These stories are inspirational and full of actionable advice.

This is Your Life

This is Your Life is hosted by Michael Hyatt who is an author, consultant and business coach. Although Hyatt’s podcast is oriented towards entrepreneurs, the discussion matter often leads to breakthroughs and insights into other areas as well. In a sense, his shows are structured like classroom lectures, but with more jokes and practical information. Some of his most popular shows have centered around improving mental focus, marketing, creating urgency, and effective negotiating.
