Use Affiliate Links to Increase Revenue

Many companies offer affiliate programs that allow website owners, such as bloggers, to earn affiliate income, which is a form of commission. These commissions may not be much, but they diversify revenue and can add up.

For example, if you’re a blogger and you join the Amazon Associates affiliate program, you can embed affiliate links to Amazon products on your website. You could use affiliate links to monetize your content when you promote books you like or products you’ve tried. When someone clicks one of these links to go to the Amazon website and makes a purchase, Amazon pays you a commission for the sale.

Some affiliate programs keep track of clickthroughs for a period of time. If someone clicks an affiliate link on your website but doesn’t make a purchase, you could still receive a commission if that person buys something from the online store two days later.
